Cooking Instant Noodles with a Healthy Twist

I'm cooking instant noodles today. Are you familiar with Nissin Demae Ramen noodles?
Last night, my husband and I had this for dinner. We added a healthy twist to this simple home cooking recipe. Our menu already included fried salmon in teriyaki sauce; steamed asparagus and okra; and cooled watermelons and melons for dessert. You'd think it was enough for a dinner for 2. However, my husband gave me this "what else" look which ended up to adding noodle soup to go with our meal.

While cooking instant noodles is as easy as boiling water; last night, we created a home cooking recipe of our own when we started cooking our instant noodles.

Ingredients in cooking instant noodles with a healthy twist:
-1 Nissin Demae Ramen
-3-5 bokchoy tops (chinese cabbage), de-leafed
-2 spring onions, chopped
-1 egg
-Pepper and salt to taste

Cooking Instant Noodles with a Healthy Twist

Let's start cooking instant noodles with a healthy twist:
1. Put in the noodles in a pot of boiling water, as instructed in the pack.
2. The bokchop follows when the noodles are cooked.
3. Add in the egg.
4. Stir well.
5. Put in the noodle's seasonings and oils.
6. Add pepper and salt as desired.
7. Put the spring onions.
8. Serve hot!
