I always go for citrus juices when I'm down with colds. When a sneeze builds up, I'm off to the grocer's to buy the ingredients for my secret weapon. I feel it's about time to share it and save the world one runny nose at a time.
- Tangerine, halved
- Lemon, halved
- Lime, halved
- Soda water
- Fresh mint leaves, chopped
Directions in juicing against colds:
- Juice the 3 fruits in one container or in a long glass.
- Sweeten the concoction with honey.
- Put a dash of salt.
- Add the mint.
- Put ice.
- Add soda water up to the tip of your glass.
- Enjoy with crackers.
This simple juice mix is an effective remedy against colds. (It's yummy, too!) Just imagine the loads of Vitamin C and antioxidants you'll be drinking from this delicious magic potion. I take two glasses of these for 1 or 2 days. Soon enough, my colds would bid their goodbyes in no time.
Take caution, though. Make sure to drink this triple-boost juice with a full stomach. You don't want hyper-acidity to kick in later on.
Remember me when you juice!
