Cooking Stir-Fried Pea Sprouts ( Easy Wok Recipe)

I absolutely love pea sprouts! These are the tiny thin shoots of garden pea plants which are normally served in Chinese restaurants. They are a bit crunchy when eaten raw (just like bean sprouts); and stringy when cooked with a hint of nutty flavor. I love them either way.

Cooking Pea Sprouts (Wok Recipe)

All the while, the only sprouts I knew existed were sprouts from mung bean. (I have such a small world. I know! haha! Check out my mung bean sprout recipe in my lumpiang togue post.) Recently though, I discovered that there is another vegetable sprout that is just enjoyable to eat – pea sprouts. I didn’t even know the peas have sprouts! Do you?

Anyway, these sprouts, just like togue (monggo bean sprouts), cook very fast. In fact, this recipe Cooking Like A Pro sharing with you can be done in about 10-15 minutes. If you have a wok, you’d be able to toss the sprouts better.  However, if you don’t have one, any cooking dish should do it. As long as you have the complete ingredients, you’ll do just fine.
