Cooking salmon is one of my favorite home cooking recipes at home. They easily cook under high heat. When done just right, cooking salmon gives away a juicy, tender meat. They are also good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which all of us can benefit from. Just a head's up though in cooking salmon. It leaves a rather strong stench in the hands when you marinate them. (I don't know about you but I always use my hands in marinating my fish). Anyway, you can wash away the fishy smell with lime juice and your regular hand wash.

Let's start cooking salmon.

Ingredients in cooking salmon with garlic and pepper:
- sliced salmon
- salt
- pepper
-garlic, crushed
- lime or lemon
- cooking oil

Cooking salmon with garlic and pepper:
1. Marinate the salmon on both sides with salt, garlic and pepper.
2. Allow the salmon to be immersed on the marinade for 5-10 minutes.
3. Put the pan in high heat.
4. Add cooking oil.
5. Fry the salmon with garlic and pepper marinade.

In  cooking salmon, don't leave the fish too long in the pan to prevent them from drying up. It usually takes 5 minutes under high heat to cook. If you want it to be a bit charred, leave it longer but lower the heat to medium.

6. Drain the oil when cooked.
7. Squirt lime juice on top of the salmon to give acidity into the dish.
8. Serve while hot.
