Cooking Mixed Vegetables with Taosi

Cooking mixed vegetables with taosi is another vegetable dish that I enjoy doing. It’s a healthy dish that is, (once more, like most of the recipes I share), simple and easy to do. Let me share with you how I cook this home cooking recipe.
The process in cooking mixed vegetables with taosi similar to cooking chopsoey (without the taosi, that is). Anyone can cook this recipe without sweat.

Ingredients in cooking mixed vegetables with taosi:
- Chicken, cut into ample size
- Garlic, crushed
- Onions, chopped
- Tomatoes, cut
- Carrots, cut similarly as the chicken
- Mushrooms, cut accordingly
- Cabbages, cut
- Kinchay or Chinese celery, chopped
- Spring onions, chopped
- Taosi beans or black beans
- Fish sauce
- Ground or powdered pepper
- Cornstarch in hot water (optional, as desired)

Let us start cooking mixed vegetables with taosi.
1. Put the pan to high heat.
2. Oil the pan.
3. Sauté a portion of the garlic.
4. Cook the chicken in the garlic mix.
5. When cooked, season the chicken with fish sauce and pepper.
6. Set aside the chicken for later.
7. Sauté the rest of the garlic and onions.
8. Put in the carrots in the pan.
9. When the carrots change into a more vibrant color, put in the mushroom in the pan.
10. Mix the vegetables well.
11. Put the cabbages to the nearly cooked vegetables.
12. Add in the flavored chicken into the vegetable mix.
13. Add in some water to allow the flavors to blend well together.
14. Put in the tomatoes and kinchay.
15. Add in the taosi into the dish to season the mixed vegetables.
16. Thicken the sauce with the cornstarch.
17. Season with pepper, as desired.
18. Take away from the stove; cover with pan and let it simmer.
19. Serve with hot rice.

While the steps seem long, cooking mixed vegetables with taosi is quite easy. Remember me when you start cooking mixed vegetables with taosi in your homes!
